When I see the Joe the Plumber raised to the level of star, I am completely bemused.

Looks like Rove trained a whole generation to focus so much on symbolic politics that they have just suspended judgment about qualifications and issues. It's part of that whole weird trend that needs to get crunched at the polls this time around.

I think that I had previously written that when I heard FOX news introduce that Obama introduced Joe I felt betrayed. I think McCain's personally talking to a person not in the audience and using him to communicate his tax plan was
a shock. Then and only then to Obama respond to Joe too.

Erroneously reporting. ON FOX ?

But that interview with Chris Matthews that Cyndwllr posted yesterday as very fair.
