Tim, I post stuff I sort of agree with and sort of disagree with all the time. No problem. My response was simply about Sowell. I've grown to dislike his readings of things. He's become far too much the RW ideologue for my tastes. In the late 80s and early 90s I read him with some interest.

Somewhere in there, however, he drank the juice and now writes pieces that fit his ideology rather than ones that try to analyze stuff.

I think posting the whole article is a good thing. You can bold the sentences you find most credible, maybe?

Sowell just seems to have lost his sense of proportion. Blaming ACORN for voter fraud, and claiming it could decide the election seems out of whack to me. I still believe ACORN created the problem for itself with poor practices and oversight, but I think Sowell is giving it way to much 'credit'. After all, they had to turn in those registrations, and they do flag them if they look suspicious.
