Ted, personally I think this is a sucker's rally. Unless "The Messiah" can create a miracle and get us out of the coming multi-year recession without a spike in unemployment, the other shoe will fall. You're seeing the beginning of a slow climb out of the hole. My house, for instance, is now valued somewhat below my buying price, but it is still valued at 60% above what the previous owners paid for it. Wow! Prices have dropped a lot in CA. I hadn't realized it was that bad. What year did you buy?
