Andy, Actually, I knew that Fox Chapel would play Upper St. Clair. However, this afternoon I found out that it would be at Peters Township at 6:00. It's actually the same field that we begann this season on (Fox Chapel won 1-0).

Tonight's game was Mt. Lebanon vs Gateway. two of the three teams that beat Fox Chapel this season. As expected, Mt. Lebanon won 1-0. It was an optimistic scouting report since we will only play Mt. Lebanon if we go to the finals (they are in the other bracket). However, we went to see a couple of Nicole's Striker teamates (one on each team), since it would be the last game of the season for one. We met two other teamates there because Penn Trafford plays the winner (also on Thursday on another artificial surface).

As long as the Fox Chapel players remember the correct shoes, we should be in fairly good shape. Unfortunately, we have 6 seniors or the team and they are used to playing (and losing) on artificial surfaces with their cleats, which may be the team's undoing on Thursday (the seniors think that their cleats are fine since that's what they always wear in the play-offs - they still haven't figured out that the frequently lose because their opponents do wear turf shoes).
