Black squirrel which is just a color variant of the gray squirrel. They are protected but are now becoming so common around here I wouldn't be surprised if they removed them at some point. Thanks for the comments on the pictures. WI is really quite a pretty state. They all are in their own ways but I like all the lakes and diversity of woods and farmland. The mountainous west is of course the real site to behold. But then the coastal areas are impressive also. Let's go with this, this country is really quite beautiful.
