It's just gotta be the mentality of "if it was good enough for my father, it's got to be good enough for me". I know my family has voted dem. for as long as I can remember. I wasn't spoken to, and still aren't in some cases, beacuse I crossed party lines. Why do you vote only for dems is the question I've asked many times and the answer has always been, it's what we do. What the hell?

Hi Smooth Sail....Those figures and Lincoln's remarks should be on an ad.... I've wondered outloud for a long, long time, why, if these people have had government handouts since the 1930's, why they are still poor????? There are at least 3 generations represented here, maybe more. (Genealogists figure 30 years for a male, and 25 years for female is a generation.) The Democrats who run those cities should be more than ashamed....they should be run out of town.
