To be honest, it's the red sox and yankee caps at the Rays games that really get local people POed. How do you know they are not local people who prefer the Red Sox and the Yankees? Up til this year, the Rays pretty much stunk up the stadium. Many people want to back a winner.......and the Red Sox and the Yankees......esp. the Yankees......are the closest we have to national teams. Three of my friends here in Seattle are natives.......... and all three are rabid Red Sox fans. While its their perogative, I do have to admit it kind of annoys me. I don't like it when people become disloyal and lose interest whenever the hometown team starts to suck out foul wind.
