AFTER THE BELL - Computer Associates up

NEW YORK, Oct 21 (Reuters) - U.S. computer giant Computer Associates saw its stock rise nearly two points in after-hours trading after reporting second-quarter earnings that surpassed Wall Street estimates, dealers said Tuesday.

One of them said trading in the stock was moderately quiet.

Computer Associates, which reported a profit of $0.72 per share against $0.59 a year ago, had its stock trading at 81 against an unofficial close of 79-11/16 on the New York Stock Exchange.

First Call's consensus among analysts had expected $0.69.

NICE GOING BABY!!!!

Hi Frank, yes, it seems like everybody is going after Intel lately, one by one. If this keeps up, what tech. will be left that is not being attacked? My wife always says even in bowling everyone goes after you if you are first place. gg.

Day after Thanksgiving?

Intel is holding up today or was before I started posting.

Have a nice day. It certainly is lousy weather out here again. Foggy and mist today.
