Texas looks to be going purple this election. McCain will likely win, but it will be close and down ballot is looking sort of blue. It is telling when my very own The Eagle endorses Obama over McCain.

Wasn't there another big Texas paper that never endorsed a Dem before?

If Obama takes Texas then it's going to be a landslide.
