"I mean somethings missing here." Since 1997 you've been told hundreds of times how much better off the world would be if you would abstain from disgusting low life commentary on SI. Why haven't you been enlightened in the past 11 years? Either you are completely FOS or just hopelessly worshipping party rhetoric. I think both apply here.

Simply put, he miscalculated and thought he could steal some pro-Hillary voters--especially among independents--away from voting for Obama. It was a calculated risk in politics his selection of Palin and a prime example as to how he fails to put "Country First!" Moreover, if Palin is an example of the kinds of appointments he'd make to government, we definitely do not need nor want John McCain!
