Yes, I've seen that in some opinion pieces I've read about her, though in some cases it's more an assumption of naivete and/or ignorance. But stupidity is not the only criticism that has been leveled at Palin, and the author of that article is basically making the claim that it is.

There are valid reasons to believe she is unqualified without having to believe she's stupid. That's all I'm saying.
