I don't think it's relevant to the voter registration issues, which aren't part of any kind of plot or nefarious scheme in any case. Nor do I think one payment to one part of ACORN for doing one of the things they do could be construed as "funneling money" to them.

As for the statement that ACORN and all such groups should stay out of politics, I can't see how you could possibly support that idea. How would you classify "such groups"? What is it about ACORN, or any group like ACORN, that disqualifies them from participating in politics?
