You know what surprises me a bit is how so many people can be swayed by a slick talking lawyer. I think it's true that certain people are built with an inner B.S. filter, where they can sort out a person’s true nature over time.

There is no doubt Obama speaks with a clear voice and what he says follows a logical pattern without being condescending the way Al Gore did. However, when you listen and watch him carefully, there is no authenticity to what he's saying. The words he chooses and the manner in which he says them come straight out of a focus group tested "say it this way" training.

His true authentic nature is always hidden beneath the words. Always out of reach and carefully unexposed.

Some can see it. Some simply cannot.

Therefore, when viewing a person with such an empty true nature, it becomes more important to examine his past. His relationships, his voting record, the things he said years before he considered running for President. That's where you will find the true nature of the man. The person most of America sees today as Obama is an invention of a skilled political network of professionals. A person who speaks well, but doesn't mean very much of what he's saying.

On the other hand, Governor Palin says what she means and means what she says. I would much prefer an honest straight talking person who has not scripted their entire personality to the deed of being elected, then vote for someone who is hiding their true nature. She may not be brilliant, but she has energy and passion and an ability to rally others to accomplish important tasks. That's what leaders do. They don't have to be brilliant. They have to be honest, candid, and walk the talk, so that others will be willing to follow.

If Obama is elected, the nation will be as divided as ever. He, Pelosi, Reid and the other hard leftists will do what leftists have done for centuries when given unfiltered power. They will ignore dissenting opinions, and try and silence them by law and by the use of government institutions.

That is simply dangerous. Socialism, of a deeper variety than we have ever seen will come to America with an Obama power alignment. It's as clear to me as the screen I type on.

And it is sad (based on the polls), that so many cannot see it.
