Mason, Thanks for your input. I certainly didn't want to insult you. I just didn't know you existed! Off topic-- Don't you think cash- cow Intel will just be forced to come out with their 786-886 generation chips just a little faster than planned with competition? I would never rule out their r&d superiority. That way Intel Inside will still mean something. Without the dos - win 95- 640 k barrier the next generation of software can be bigger-better. We may just have a split computer market. Entry leval cheap pc's and systems with voice recognition and more. Same sort of thing as 25" tv's vs large screen. Juster
