Not me. I would be very upset if the Dems were spending that much money on clothes for one candidate.

You have no idea what they're spending on clothes for Obama. He's not wearing $500 suits.

Why? They're spending like $300 million on ads, which are probably worth twenty points. If, say they spent $150K on clothing and it turns out to be worth even like a tenth of a point, that clothing is a better investment, dollar-for-dollar than the ads.

It's been conventional wisdom since 1960 that the way a candidate looks is very important to his/her electoral chances.
