The diffence in this election, I believe Marcos, is that Obama will start workign from Nov 5th with the best and the brightest. As Krugman (just won nobel prize for economics) said about Bush he ran off all the smart economists. MCCain's economic guru is Phil Gramm. That should send shivers down your spine. But Obama will bring the smartest guys and gals in the country to work on the problem: Buffet, volker, summers, Tyson, Krugman, Bloomberg, Soros, etc. Krugman thinks Obama will need to start Nov 5 and not even wait until January. My feeling regarding this deflationary black hole is they cannot let it just go even if they have to risk full blown inflation with massive infusions of fiat money. But what the hell do I know - lol? I still appreciate your coming to my rescue a few years back. Cheers, Helicopter Ben start your engines and load it up with bags of money.
