Then there is the issue of odds. Since you have all those polls saying your guy is winning, you ought to be willing to offer good odds to me. Furthermore, you've made a big point that "fairness" is important to you. And you've let slip your wife is a lawyer. My own wife is a public school librarian - so clearly your household is more affluant than mine. Also, I support relatives financially - another source of economic inequality - which as you've said is very important to you. Therefore in line with your liberal principles, you should be willing to risk more money on the bet than I. I think 4:1 odds would be good. That is I send Ten $100, you send him $400 - and if McCain wins I get it all, if Palin wins you get it all. Sound ok?
