My post was not meant to be disrespectful in any way, and I'm sorry if anybody took offense.

But I consider my post to be the exact point that differs Vi's position from Bernanke's and others.

I have a lot of respect for Vi, but the people that rule the fed and the government aren't stupid either, so there must be a difference in perception or in knowledge.

If you take that chart, and just look at the numbers, you may think that 500 trillion is a lot more than the real value, so that's bad. That would be a very wrong conclusion, and I assume that everybody here agrees, that you need to understand the numbers.

It is very easy to measure things, but it is very hard to understand what is being measured.
