"The AP-GfK survey included interviews with a large sample of adults including 800 deemed likely to vote. Among all 1,101 adults interviewed, the survey showed Obama ahead 47 percent to 37 percent. He was up by five points among registered voters."

Wrong. Do the math...have you done the math?

1. How large are the total number of subprime loans.
2. How many have failed.
3. How many subprime loans should have been regular loans.
4. What is the total dollar amount of subprime loan failure.
5. What is the total dollar amount of the bail outs...to date?
6. What is the size of the actual financial meltdown?

Ok, number 4 isn't necessary to understand what is going on but it is estimated that 65% of subprime loans should have been regular loans but for outright mortgage broker/loan officer FRAUD.

LOL you must think this thread is really stupid.

The culprit is LEVERAGE and SWAPS. 2% bad loans do not bring entire banking systems down unless they are overleveraged. DUH.
