What "garbage?" The consent decree they agreed to? The anti-trust laws? What is it you think no court in the US will uphold?

I just watched Charlie Rose on pbs..

Ballmer interview along with someone from wall street and a lawyer... The lawyer was pretty convincing that there is a good case against Microsoft...

Ballmer stepped all over himself in my opinion... Seemed to try and say several times that IE was integrated with Windows and at the same time gave obvious references to IE being a separate product... Hope to see a transcript of the interview...

The issue comes down to whether IE is a separate product... I think given the history of Internet Explorer and Navigator...that the court will indeed determine that IE has been a separate product and find that Microsoft is in violation of consent decree... Microsoft's secret agreements may com under fire and they may be forced to not require Manufacturers to bundle IE to get Windows (which Ballmer so much as admitted they require). How this will play out with Win98...Who knows.. but I do think there is a fairly good chance there may be implications...
