Being a stickler for accuracy, I must report that I have verified that Obama wears Hart Schaffner suits.

Shoppers have started asking for the Obama suit -- the navy blue, worsted-wool, two-button suit that Chicago's Hartmarx tailored just for Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama.

The Hart Schaffner Marx suits are sold at retail as the Gold Trumpeter collection. In department stores, they go for $1,500 apiece.

Now, Obama has bought two more of the suits in blue and three in gray -- all the same silhouette and material -- single-breasted, 97 percent worsted wool and 3 percent cashmere. The pleated pants have an inch-and-a-quarter cuffs.

ROFL
And Michelle looks WAY better than Cindy- and Cindy's clothes no doubt cost a fortune. If we're voting on style, I'd say it's a no brainer for Obama, because McCain also looks like crap in his (no doubt) very expensive suits...

:-)

It's nice to have a candidate that has both style and substance, and good sense- the good sense not to spend a fortune on clothes at a time when many Americans are losing their homes. That just looks mighty bad- no matter how "important" it is to look absolutely fabulous.
