You hold yourself out as possessing a modicum of sophistication and yet you claim you can detect no difference between the choices that we have in this election.

To me, this makes you as inconsistent intellectually as the idiot who selected the cheerleader for vice president.....

Are your interests really so insulated from the US that our selecting another idiot for 4 years won't affect you?

I think we're most likely to experience "policy overshoots" in both directions, both deflation and inflation.

There's also a possibility we just experience straight deflation, with inflation occurring only in items in short supply - of which there will be very few.

So I believe it's a mistake to get locked into one particular strategy. Currently US Dollars are winning if you hold cash, but this may change in the future.
