Yes, that is complete madness, but just talk to a Canadian business person and they will tell you how they are very, very happy their currency is weak. I listened to five of them tell me just that last week. They can absolutely crush their American competitors, but they go bust at parity.

I understand that in terms of national wealth, Canadians are near the top. Vast resources and not so many people.

I'm pissed about this whole thing like a snake. Six years of great trades, and holding about a 1/3 of those positions has wiped out years of gains. Central bankers should be tortured, hung, and then displayed in public in plexiglass boxes. Nothing but the most base criminals in the land. Of course 99% of Americans have no understanding of this, and there is the problem.
