Paul, What next

OK, so where do we go from here?? I just read a pretty dismal report from PW about next years eps. Report said intc will trade in the low 70's. PE of 20. EPS of $3.50 !!!

Are they right or just nuts ??? I'm a little concerned, shouldn't we all be ???

GO MERCED, PLEASE !!

Peace,

Dennis 1

Check this out:

Merill was the #1 voulme dealer of INTC shares in September and have been #1 for the last 3 months. They traded 8% of all INTC shares last month! And you know they prepare themselves (short) accordingly before Kerlak goes on the squawk box with his calls.

Paul. Re: PC Mkt. & Intel 4Q earnings

Here is something I picked up on the CPQ thread. Murphy feels that part of Intel's cautiousness is an inventory correction as more boxmakers got to the Dell/CPQ BTO model. Once inventories are aligned, Intel sales will take off again.

Re: " Who in their right mind would consider a non Intel chip
to save $40 on an entire system?"

Paul I agree with you on this one. But, what it is doing is forcing INTC to cut prices so fast, Will INTC be able to maintain Margins and revenue growth at this rate of price decline ?

If they can not, then maybe INTC price is headed towards AMD's.

BTW, I heard (sorry, but I really heard) that INTC has cut prices on flash to cost. That may preasure Q4 E even more.
