BAWK! Gee, Ike, I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers (cluck). I am certainly relieved that the market is up and I will not be waiting in the welfare gumbo line for food now. "I will keep serving and God will help me" Your self-importance seems to be growing faster than a runaway DELL train. How can I argue, for I am just a humble chicken, destined to live and die in a coop. But this existence will be satisfactory to me if only you can help me answer the one question that has truly plagued me for some time now: Is the thread the carpet, or the carpet the thread? Ike: The best way to handle TLC is for the entire thread to just ignorehim. He gets his jollies from anyone's responses to his needles so don't respond at all and he'll go somewhere else where he can pull their chain and get a rise. From here on out on the Idea thread he's now a nonperson, nonevent, irrelevant and inconsequential. We have the power to delete him from the thread-just don't respond or refer to him in any way. halfscot

IKE, how do you see INTC moving this month? The marked is softening today, but I like the way INTC has moved up slowly, a point or so a day. Thus, it's up a bit today while yesterdays rockets, IBM & MSFT are down today on profit taking. I think you are right on RE long term prospects for INTC. I played it safe, and bought nov 80s after earnings. It turned out to still be poor timing, for which I have only myself to blame. Friday was a great buying day. I overspent my margin and had to do some selling instead and pass up on the bargains. That left me with INTC nov 90s @ 9, and still a little underwater with a month to go. Keep it up. Hans
