Yeah, it IS a bunker on BOTH sides. People on the "hard" left don't want to even hear anything that doesn't go along with their already established positions and it's the same on the "hard" right. But, I think we've gotten to a point where ADULTS have to start to take charge and FORCE some compromise. Either that or we just scratch everything and go to a parliamentary system. In a parliamentary system you HAVE to listen to others because you have to form coalitions.
