The Obama candidacy is all about voting for the black guy to prove how tolerant we are.

Unfortunately, the truth is that Obama will win because of three categories of votes:

a) Blacks
b) Liberal democrats
c) Naive, inexperienced kids under 30.

Yes, some out of all categories will vote for him. But these three are the essential constituencies that guarantee him a win. They are a small group compared with the three above.

Having a black president ought to be a moment of pride for Americans. It is unfortunate, however, that our first black president is also one who is so badly unqualified for the job and one who apparently, if given a chance to do so, will destroy much about our country that is good.

Obama will be blamed for his new socialist agenda just as those of us who understand the nation's problems blame the New Deal and the Great Society. What will we name Obama's socialist agenda?

In my experience, Asians are some of the most racist people on Earth, although they rarely express it.

Why Obama is Winning

By Joe Klein

"His has been a remarkable campaign, as smoothly run as any I've seen in nine presidential cycles. Even more remarkable, Obama has made race — that perennial, gaping American wound — an afterthought. He has done this by introducing a quality to American politics that we haven't seen in quite some time: maturity. He is undoubtedly as ego-driven as everyone else seeking the highest office — perhaps more so, given his race, his name and his lack of experience. But he has not been childishly egomaniacal, in contrast to our recent baby-boomer Presidents — or petulant, in contrast to his opponent. He does not seem needy. He seems a grown-up, in a nation that badly needs some adult supervision."
