5000 Post Milestone Registration is this afternoon for the AFT National Championship on Lake Guntersville. The weather forecast has improved a little but we will still see some chilly air in the mornings. Anglers are coming off the water asking me for advice because the bite has been tough. All I know is they should be in the grass. I'll find out for myself tomorrow, location is always important. Not everyone who fished the Bassmaster Open here last week did well, ex: Gerald Swindle caught 18lbs then zeroed not making the cut in the 3day event. I'm lowering my expectations on what it will take to win. If you can catch 15lb avg. for all 4 days you could probably win? Somewhere around 30lbs after day3 to make the top 25 cut?
