Besides beating up hard working Joe, does the plumbers union support the coercion of their members with the elimination of the private ballot?

Of course they do..........they want them all to be beholden to their cause. Unions can't stand the fact that there are thousands of non Union plumbers all across the U.S. We've been working with one of the very best you can find for a long time. He's worked for other non union companies for yrs. We finally talked him into getting a business license............giving him advice on how to set up his business......who to call, where to get paperwork, set up insurance, recommended our CPA etc...and he finally did it last yr. Now he is independent and has a lot of work because we, and other contractors recommend him to our clients.

He has told us he wouldn't unionize for anything. Doesn't want to be saddled with their archaic rules or be tied to them in any way.

And we don't blame him one bit. Some hard working Americans are just too independent for some people, and that's just too bad.

Ted Stevens is free to hire anyone he wants.
