Well, we'll see. Not so much in this election, but more in how Obama and the Democratic majorities in Congress will govern. The placement of the "silent majority" on a "left-right" axis will shift with results and circumstances. Results will necessarily include some luck, but it will also include "luck" made by hard work and wise decisions made with a view to the long term future of the country.

Mary, I am not sure you are responding to the issue that is under discussion. The issue is about some people never desiring to vote for an African-American candidate. The discussion had nothing to do with Right Wing (RW), neocons etc.

And yes, I agree that nothing is done till it is done.
