I believe Greenspan when he said he didn't see all this coming. Everyone here understands that buying the ws bucketshop means you might lose everything. People buying the phoney housing boom couldn't imagine losing everything. They are still up to their eyeballs in a ridiculous situation...

At this point in history, savers should not be punished, but that's what they are doing because they said so.
