Cary, If we look at the reality, then most reasonable people will admit that most aspects of quality of life are near the best standards in the USA. Surely, there must be something positive to be said for the system which has created one of the most powerful, wealthy, healthy and well-educated peoples of the world. Jarrett, I'm not an expert on Marx, but I believe there's one major area where he didn't do a good job of predicting the effects of capitalism. Did he not expect it to be the father of its own destruction. To date, he has been wrong. Ian.
