Monogamous Thought business studies show groups that once excel, then eventually become mediocre or worse can usually be traced to the mere fact as the group chsnges, people entering the group will be more similar to the current members of the group and not the people that depart. over time the group loses its dynamic creativity and ideas, because people in the group have similar ideas. you reach harmony, but at the cost of success. bulls and bears provide an important service in allowing for the best analysis possible. i.e. look at the great analysis we see in response to tim. do you believe you would see the same level of knowledge or analysis without the opposing groups? p.s. sorry for the title of "Monogamous Thought", if this made your heart pound in hopes of a more titillating post.
