Well, you can do all the work since you want it put down in writing. If an individual makes $50,000, their taxes owed federally would be around $8800. That is a long ways away from 50%. The person earning $250,000 pays around $68,000. Let's use those as starting points and you can bring it up to the 50% that you state via specific numbers... As you can see, the evil person earning $250,000 is paying at a much higher tax rate and the total dollars contributed is $60,000 more.
