I don't agree with the democratic position on FICA and SS. But AT LEAST the democrats seem to understand that we cannot effectively DOUBLE the liability that is medicare and not have any fallout. Thats what republicans did, with Medicare part D. They doubled the liability which was unfunded anyway. I am including this medicare scam under the heading of "pork" in Bush's 5 TRILLION DOLLAR debt increase boondoggle due to war and pork. Did I mention that Bush doubled the national debt, which has caused the dollar to crash ushering in a whole new wave of inflation something we thought we'd licked? Bush is the worst economic president EVER and he could not have achieved this massive level of incompetancy without a lot of help from an all republican congress. The chickens have come home to roost now and even Elizabeth Dole is getting flushed. John Mccain might have had a chance if he picked Dole instead of that retard Palin.
