Well, I'm sorry about that. It explains your confusion over the economy; if I were one of the 6% or so who are unemployed, I'm sure I would have a different view as well.

But you would have to admit that being unemployed might bias your view of the economy somewhat -- historically, 6% unemployment is not extremely bad (4% is normal, 8% is on the high side).


Well, actually I retired two months ago...so I didn't "lose" my job...of course my nest egg is a bit under water at the moment...that's the economic "effect" on me so far...of course my neighbor lost his house, and my in laws are on the verge of losing theirs...THEY have this silly idea that that economy is bad for them...selfish people. Wait til obama gets in there and really evicts them...then they'll appreciate 8 years of gop governance...
