But anyone who thinks they're going to cover the cost of insuring everyone by getting people to be more proactive and IT improvements is nuts. The massive costs of healthcare relate to the real cost of providing the best health care in the world. This means expensive chemo drugs, diagnostic hardware and software, professional time, and the best facilities in the world. And any move toward socialization only makes matters worse. You cannot bash the profits out of health care and reasonably expect the system to improve. And this is precisely what Obama would do.
