But, just to satisfy my curiosity, and leaving aside that there's absolutely zero indication that anything like that ever *has* happened (because conspiracy theories are after all better that way), what is there to show that it *can't* happen?

Not the busloads of immigrants, of course, but mass registration of fake voters who will actually show up and vote? Of course it would have to be the world's largest conspiracy, thousands of people working in unison and never a leak or spilled secret, carefully targeted, centrally organised somehow to ensure the votes go where needed, and with all those people risking prison etc...
but what ELSE is stopping it working? <g>
