I agree with you in principle, but 9/11 left deep scars that may take 50 years to heal. So if Obama was in fact Muslim, which is in truth a vicious lie, then I'm sure he wouldn't be so far ahead in the polls. Americans couldn't stomach a Muslim for President at this point in our history. Think about this. Romney was a fine candidate, but he didn't get voted in due in part to being Mormon. Wow. Lieberman has been a Presidential candidate before, and being Jewish, he didn't stand a chance. Those two stories alone tell us that we are a deeply Christian nation that has a serious problem with other religions. I think we'll see a Jewish President sooner than we'll see a Muslim President. And neither of those are in the cards for a very long while.
