John, I remember shorting ARBA in August 2000 around 105 or so and needing to cover at 118 on a ramp. Needless to say I stayed away from shorting it after that as I was new to shorting and I could not understand how that stock could hold up while the market was starting to fall apart. I was also short VNTR, CMRC, MSTR, and other stuff that was a joke.

I believe the networkers like CIEN, JDSU, and JNPR made new highs in August 2000 just to screw things up.

We're limit down this morning on the futures. It looks like doomsday is here.

I wonder if Roubini is right and they close the market for a week. I seriously doubt they could do it with the Fed next week and the election in about 10-days.
