I think your guess is a good as any!

JAVA is almost selling at cash value. Don't you think that some company such as IBM, HPQ or DELL would purchase it to put it out of it's misery or is there intellectual property really that bad?

That would be exceedingly nice. There's much blood in the streets, and I must admit, some of it is mine. The valuations have become ludicrous, except the hedge funds and other funds are daily dumping hugely to cover next day's redemptions. Small cap and weak stocks get slaughtered in the process. One can only hope the end (bottom) is near. Re Sun, maybe Southeastern Asset Management will find a way to raise its valuation, once this wholesale dumping runs its course.

HP and Sun Microsystems will jointly conduct live audio webcasts to announce details regarding their newly expanded partnership agreement. Two live presentations, intended to separately reach regional audiences, will allow for global media participation.

Who:
The audio webcast of the conference calls will be hosted by Mark Potter, senior vice president and general manager of ESS Infrastructure Software and Blades at HP, and John Fowler, executive vice president of Systems at Sun Microsystems.

When: Wed., Feb. 25, 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST and 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST
