Actually, Greenspan said, "Mr Greenspan said it was the failure to properly price risky mortgage-backed securities that precipitated the crisis."

While I believe it is a true statement, there is a more fundamental cause, which is the liberals requiring that mortgages be let to people who couldn't afford it.

The problem is people like you who voted for Bush not once but twice. You are the source of all the problems this nation is facing right now. Its disgusting you are so chickensh*t that you won't take responsibility for what you all have done. Start acting like an adult.......its long overdue.

There is nothing inherently risky about mortgage backed securities -- in fact, they were once a safe investment. They became risky ONLY after the liberals started throwing mortgage money at people who were not qualified to receive it.

Total bull shit. The unregulated money center banks instigated this crisis. Everybody with a brain knows that.
