Now you are getting the idea. It's the combination of cycles which does the trick.

We can also predict the volcanoes like that. They happen when the tides are highest and there's a low pressure atmosphere and groundwater is low and there's an earthquake. Of course the volcano has to be ready to blow with liquids about to turn to gas phase and start the expansionary process.

There have always been property rights and territorial conflict. But there's plenty of land so no need for genocide which is the traditional approach to managing property rights.
