Crisis = Opportunity, they say, it's just that there are more of each now ... it's like in the olden days of high turnover in logging camps, they'd have a crew coming, a crew working, and a crew on the boat to town ... i once got hired by a foreman on his way to camp, we got there and he was surprised no one had quit since he'd left, he and i worked cherry-picking with an old Washington trakloader for several days, then sure enough somebody quit, he put me to second loading and got to drive around in his pickup again

To have sold New Gold in the summer far higher makes this fellow brilliant, but it doesn't make their 'combination of assets' poor in light of current shareprice, or at that price in normal times for that matter - the Peak stuff was not that great, for sure, but it won't turn out that bad in the end either, meanwhile the ngd/mr stuff is great, CSP performing, New Afton on the way and el Morro providing huge upside for when copper comes back, which it will

Now never mind that this is the ninth time since Labour day i've said this, but i'm smelling bottom, guys ... gotta be right one of these times, lol

Trying to decide whether to short usd right now, got seven minutes before forex desk closes, thinking of buying loonies with F-account credit, they charge near full one per cent for this so you don't want to do it too often ... hmmm, can't decide, might leave it till early next week, but this usd ramp is sure looking vertical, straight lines usually turn out to be of finite length
