<<Regulations now is like regulations on shutting the cockpit door AFTER Osama's gang has bolted through. The regulations were needed BEFORE the event. But as then, people will solve the problem after the problem has happened and their regulations just add to the burden, achieving nothing.

The regulation can only say "No investments can be made without government approval". That's going to be amusing. Anyone who thinks governments are good at investing should take a look at previous efforts>>

Unfortunately this is exactly where the Wall Street is heading for or is with one foot in the doorstep already. Unfortunately AG is too old to be an organ donor but who says US will not break another human rights chapter and adopt old Asian justice and take revenge on his family. Just a fact that he is been allowed to be grilled before lowly congresspeople speaks for itself. Why even bother to spend more money hunting somewhere so called terrorists when here we have the man who was the watchdog of the money supply and with his total ignorance or maybe acting with full premeditation brought more havoc on American and world people than hundreds of 9/11's. It is very easy to count the people he killed, Twin Towers he destroyed as money, human lives, their health, properties are all related very closely. There is absolutely no excuse to let him go without punishment. Until then good luck to anybody putting their money into this house of cards. I'm against any government regulations when it comes to free market. Federal Reserve have to be regulated including criminal responsibility spread out not only toward the members but their families as well. Chinese way. At least put them with the families to Gitmo till the case is resolved. BUsh, Cheney belongs over there as well. Do you remember shopping spree president performed after 9/11 to convince Americans to spend more money on credit?

Maurice, please forget all the mighty nuclear power of the US, others have enough of them too to wipe out the life from this planet.

Marek

>>You hit the nail on the head though<<

Yes! The "great, admirable, estimable, venerable and successful iconic Uncle Al KBE" now wants more financial regulation. Ayn Rand must be rolling over in her grave! ;>)
