It was the minority led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that convinced the majority to pass civil rights legislation.

Nowadays, the minority who thinks "we're smarter than everyone else" doesn't even bother trying to convince the majority of their views. They just play "political games" to push their agendas.
