Your implication that a liberterian or liberterian policies would somehow be worse for the country at this time is unproven. I am not sure what good the policies implemented by this government have done, except to put us all further in debt and I am not at all sure that they are going to make things any better. They seem to be based on the theory that debt got us into this mess and more debt will get us out.

I am convinced that policies that both parties supported and implemented caused this.

So the answer to your question is both. I think there really are two choices. Let the market takes its course and get this over with,more or less suffer less now, or drag it out more and make it worse and suffer worse later.

I think it is far to late to do much else.
