People are making fun of that but I can tell you for a fact that a broken pinkie has a major effect on how you throw the ball. He should take the needle before the game IMO but its his call. Jr. broke his pinkie too but it was more near the knuckle so he could still grip the ball on his throws. I'm REALLY impressed with my son's mental toughness. He's such a gentle giant in school, gets great grades etc etc but when he takes the field, court or diamond he comes ready to win - not play - win!
