What happened to The Fed's neutrality during elections? I thought they didn't change rates within 6 months of an election, and now they are poised to set a record low rate perhaps just days before a major election. More Republican dirty tricks.

When rates are this low, further cuts may have little effect. How did Japan do with zero interest rates? The liquidity trap is for real.
