Civilized or not, it wasn't justification for the illegal invasion and subsequent occupation. Pre-emptive attacks are illegal under international law. So is torture. Granted, there was dictatorial behavior but in the future this might pale to how things might look once Iran truly begins to sink its teeth into the Iraqi society ... thank you George W. Bush! All so that Bush could get reelected as a war president; something he had to do since it was the US Supreme Court that, in effect, selected Bush in the first place. History will view Bush's tenure as a bloodbath where many got killed and an economic blumber of epic proportion! We in America, are actually lucky the true GOPwinger colors got shown; otherwise, America might well have become no America at all!
